Meet the founder

Nelson Emmanuel Okafor

Founder & CEO, Carpenterway Furnishings & Interiors

Nelson Emmanuel Okafor began his journey into carpentry in 2017 while he was a 300-level university student during an ASUU strike. Instead of waiting idly, he chose to learn a practical skill, and that decision sparked a career in carpentry, interior design and entrepreneurship.

Today, he leads Carpenterway with a vision to transform spaces, champion craftsmanship and demonstrate the possibilities of creative enterprise in Nigeria. His hands-on experience as both a carpenter and an interior designer shapes the company’s commitment to thoughtful design, practical execution and exceptional results.
